Clearance: * DHS Public Trust

Responsibilities/Duties: * Drive innovation within Data Engineering by playing a lead role in technology decisions for the future of our data science, analysis, and reporting needs

• Work with business partners and software engineers to gather, understand, and bridge definitions and requirements
• Lead the design and development for highly complex and critical data projects with strict timelines
• Drive efficiency gains through improved reliability and stakeholder adoption of self-serve tools
• Identify gaps and weaknesses in our data stack and continues to drive learning advancements for the team
• Provide technical expertise and leadership to Data Engineering team in all phases of work including analysis, design, and development of architecture
• Meet project deadlines and requirements
• Ensure end users/business partners have trust in the data and actively promote stakeholder adoption of self-service tools
• Establish strong working relationships with Project Managers, Software Engineers, and other key stakeholders

Required Qualifications : * 3+ years of experience

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
• Eligible for Public Trust DHS clearance

Preferred Qualifications: * Experience within the federal government, preferably DHS

• Current clearance, public trust or higher.
