The Data Center Engineer - Sales is responsible for promoting, designing, and supporting sales of data center infrastructure services, with a strong focus on maintenance contracts, technical solutions, and compliance services. The role requires a hybrid skill set across technical expertise, customer-facing communication, and solution design, directly tied to the service offerings of GTSCO UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance Scope & Service Sales
Lead and manage sales of data center preventive and corrective maintenance services.
Prepare technical proposals and scope-of-work for:
UPS systems
CRAC units
ATS, STS, and backup systems
Battery systems and testing
Conduct technical site surveys and audits to define the scope of maintenance contracts.
2. Solution Design & Sales Engineering
Assess client environments and propose fit-for-purpose data center solutions, including:
Power & cooling infrastructure
Monitoring systems (AKCP, Room Alert)
Access control & security
ISO 14644 compliance for clean environments
Translate client requirements into technical and commercial proposals.
3. Data Center Services Portfolio (as per GTSCO)
Actively promote all GTSCO Data Center services, including:
Data center deep cleaning & ISO 14644 validation
CFD airflow analysis and optimization
Environmental monitoring and IoT integration
Cable management and equipment cleanup
Thermal imaging, EMI testing, and airflow balancing
4. Business Development & Client Support
Develop leads and opportunities with enterprise and critical facility clients (banking, government, telecom, healthcare).
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure after-sales satisfaction and contract delivery.
Maintain long-term relationships with facility managers, IT heads, and procurement leaders.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical, or IT Engineering.
2-5 years of experience in data center infrastructure, maintenance, or technical sales.
Knowledge of UPS, CRAC, power systems, ISO standards, TIA-942, and facility management.
Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems, and basic CAD/drawing tools (for layouts).
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
UAE Driving License is an advantage
