Job Summary:
- As an Data Architect you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures, driving innovation, and providing strategic direction for our organization\'s data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain the data architecture roadmap for our cloud journey.
- Design and implement cloud-based data architectures and solutions.
- Define data integration and migration strategies to move data to the cloud.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and data integration needs.
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas and metadata in the cloud environment.
- Provide technical leadership to the data team in designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions.
- Ensure data security, privacy and compliance in the cloud environment.
- Monitor and optimize data performance in the cloud environment.
- Provide guidance and support to the data team on cloud technologies and best practices.
Education & experience:
- Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in data architecture and cloud technologies
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques
- Experience in implementing data solutions using cloud-based technologies such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake or Azure Synapse
- Experience in designing and implementing data architectures in a cloud environment.
- Familiarity with data governance concepts and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
BONUS POINTS FOR HAVING:
- Hands on experience in implementing frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA
- Experience in Data Vault Modeling
