Job Description

POSITION OBJECTIVE

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between financial record-keeping and strategic decision-making by transforming complex financial data into actionable business intelligence. You will ensure the integrity of financial reporting while identifying trends, optimizing operational costs, and providing predictive insights that drive long-term profitability and regulatory compliance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -

Primary Accountabilities:

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. Develop and maintain sophisticated forecasting models to predict cash flow. Perform continuous monitoring of all transactions posted in the ERP system. Manage the seamless flow of data in the ERP system. Coordinate with the Finance team on payments to vendors. Posting of invoices in the ERP system.
Secondary Accountabilities:

Basic understanding of debits, credits, and the Chart of Accounts to ensure entries are coded correctly. Ability to spot minute discrepancies in large datasets that automated tools might overlook. High ethical standards for handling confidential financial data.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Work experience of 3 years analyzing financial statements and reconciling large datasets.
SPECIFICATIONS

Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and patterns in customer spending or operational costs. Experience with ERP systems, including E-Business Suite. Reconcile large datasets from ERP systems. Ability to plan, manage, and monitor the effective use of financial resources. Understanding of debits and credits. Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities to make data-driven decisions under pressure. Habitually verify data anomalies and question assumptions rather than accepting figures at face value. Team player with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Good knowledge of the English language; Arabic will be an added advantage. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions in a fast-paced environment.
