Job Purpose

Gathering, managing, and analyzing data related to ecology research and projects. Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide valuable insights that drive decision-making and improve the effectiveness of the Fund's initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

1. Data Management:

· Collect and maintain ecological data from various sources.

· Develop and implement data quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability.

· Create and manage databases, data storage, and data retrieval systems.

2. Data Collection:

· Design and execute data collection plans for ecological research projects.

· Collaborate with field teams to collect environmental and ecological data.

· Utilize data collection tools and technologies effectively.

3. Statistics:

. Conduct statistical analysis on collected data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.

. Generate descriptive and inferential statistics to support research findings.

. Create data visualizations and reports to communicate insights effectively.

4. Data Interpretation:

. Interpret and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

. Provide recommendations based on data analysis to inform decision-making processes.

5. Data Integration:

. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate data from various sources and domains.

. Work on cross-functional projects to enhance data-driven solutions.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data collection and analysis processes.

Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and data summaries for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

· Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.

· 5 - 7 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.

· Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Preferably Ecology background.

Arabic language is a plus.
