Our Client is currently seeking experienced Data Acquisition (DAQ) Contractors with a strong background in unconventional oil and gas operations to support drilling, completions, stimulation, and production activities in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on real-time and post-job data acquisition, quality control, integration, and reporting to ensure accurate decision-making across multidisciplinary teams.



Candidates must have hands-on experience in unconventional plays (e.g., shale, tight gas, tight oil) and be comfortable working in fast-paced, data-driven operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

Acquire, monitor, validate, and manage real-time and post-job data from drilling, completions, and stimulation operations Ensure high-quality data capture from multiple sources including surface, downhole, and third-party service providers Perform data quality control (QC), validation, and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity and reliability Integrate DAQ systems with drilling, completions, and reservoir workflows Support unconventional operations such as horizontal drilling, multi-stage hydraulic fracturing, and extended reach wells Provide timely reports, dashboards, and visualizations for operations, engineering, and management teams Collaborate closely with drilling, completions, reservoir, geomechanics, and production engineers Interface with service companies to ensure correct configuration, calibration, and data delivery standards Support continuous improvement initiatives related to data workflows, automation, and digital oilfield solutions Ensure compliance with company standards, data governance policies, and Saudi Aramco or operator requirements Work on a rotational schedule in field or operations centers as required
