Provide Information Assurance (IA) subject matter expertise to NAVCENT N6 in support of planning and implementation of security measures and compliance with DoD and Command Cybersecurity directives. Technical services include daily technical support of Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) Program of Record systems organic to the NAVCENT Maritime Operations Center (MOC) through information assurance tools like Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) - (**Formerly) Host- Based Security System -- HBSS and ACAS, site activation and planning, network and systems security design, and risk management. TS-SCI Clearance required.

Responsibilities

Major Job Activities:

+ Provide technical assistance for system integration and site activation planning, to include the formulation and tracking of delivery plans for equipment sub-systems.

+ Provide technical assistance with preparation and analysis of integration designs, implementation concepts, and systems. Support includes risk reduction in support of applicable risk management plans.

+ Provide technical expertise for system administration and sustainment of the Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) Formerly HBSS). Support includes account management, system restoration and disaster recovery (including maintenance of a backup capability), configuration management, software installation, and upgrades. Potential to be supporting (5) or more separate ESS servers across multiple domains and classifications of networks.

+ Assist the customer with analysis of the "customer environment" and assessment of ESS requirements. Assist with validating the number of IP's, devices, and operating systems.

+ Configure and maintain dashboards, user/user groups, scheduled scans, repositories, assets, scan policies, reports, and scan zones resident in the ESS Suite.

+ Request and maintain all hardware and software certifications and licenses.

+ Provide technical expertise for system administration and sustainment of the ACAS. Support includes account management, system restoration and disaster recovery (including maintenance of a backup capability), configuration management, software installation, and upgrades. Services include support for no less than (5) separate ACAS servers across multiple domains and classifications of networks.

+ Configure and maintain dashboards, user/user groups, scheduled scans, repositories, assets, scan policies, reports, and scan zones resident in the ACAS Suite.

+ Configure and complete various ACAS scans according to assigned criteria.

+ Request and maintain all hardware and software certifications and licenses.

+ Ensure VRAM uploads, plugins are downloaded, and scan integrity.

+ Configure and maintain remote NESSUS scanners. This includes all cybersecurity measures such as patching and STIG compliance.

+ Provide information assurance technical expertise supporting MOC C2 system installations and upgrades sponsored by PEO C4I program offices. Interface with program office representatives regarding the provision (and implementation) of relevant ESS point products and policies.

+ Maintain IA readiness for ACAS by applying required patches, updates, and STIG settings.

+ Provide technical advice and assistance to the customer during preparatory phases of Cyber Readiness Operational Inspections (CCORI).

Material & Equipment Directly Used:

Navy classified and unclassified C4ISR computer systems and ONE-NET.

Working Environment:

Candidate will work primarily in computer facilities at Naval commands in an office or computer equipment room environment. Work outside of normal work week hours will be required to participate in meetings, troubleshooting efforts, and installations or upgrades.

Physical Activities:

+ Personnel may be required to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. Individual must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted.

+ The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection of installed computer and network equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

+ BS in Information Technology (or equivalent technical degree) and 5+ years technical experience in related discipline required.

+ IAM Level II Certification (per DoD Inst 8750.1 and Navy guidance) required. CAP, CASP+, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, or CCISO with IA and CE required.

+ 5+ years' experience with Navy or DoD Networks (SIPRNET, NIPRNET, SCI).

+ 5+ years' Experience in Cyber Security best practices and in the design, execution, and remediation of internal audits.

+ 5+ years' experience C4I Systems experience: JWICS, GCCS-J/M, FMV, DCGS-N, CENTRIX/other C2 Systems Administration.

+ Active DoD TS-SCI Security Clearance.

Experience / Skills:

+ Provide technical assistance for system integration and site activation planning, to include the formulation and tracking of delivery plans for equipment sub-systems.

+ Provide technical assistance with preparation and analysis of integration designs, implementation concepts, and systems. Support includes risk reduction in support of applicable risk management plans.

+ Design and maintain IT audit programs for business process reviews, system implementations, and application reviews in preparation for organizational Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) or Command Cyber Operational Readiness Inspections (CCORI).

+ Knowledge of military C2 architectures required.

+ Must be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.

+ Must be able to communicate clearly with senior Navy / DoD officials and technical personnel.

+ Candidate must be able to provide training as needed.
