Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive
Cybersecurity Officer
to establish and lead our company's cybersecurity function. The successful candidate will oversee security monitoring, conduct risk assessments, and develop a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy and roadmap. This role will serve as the company's primary security authority until the department expands.Key Responsibilities:
Lead continuous security monitoring, incident detection, and response. Conduct risk assessments and identify security gaps across IT systems and infrastructure. Develop and implement a cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, and related policies. Ensure compliance with regulations and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR). Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance security awareness and governance. Report security posture and progress to management.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred). 5-7 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, monitoring, and strategy development. Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls. Proficiency with SIEM tools, network and cloud security, and IAM solutions. Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH/OSCP, Security+.
