Job Summary

We are looking for a

Cybersecurity Governance & Compliance Advisor

to lead the development and oversight of cybersecurity frameworks, policy lifecycles, and compliance initiatives. The consultant will work across multiple entities to ensure regulatory alignment and consistent governance.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain cybersecurity policy and documentation frameworks (Policies, Standards, Manuals, SoA, etc.). Conduct gap assessments and maturity evaluations using recognized frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS). Maintain and update Statement of Applicability (SoA) and track control justifications. Manage compliance trackers and ensure closure of audit findings and treatment plans. Coordinate and facilitate cybersecurity stakeholder review meetings (MRMs) and compliance communications. Support industry-standard certifications and accreditations through document readiness and audit facilitation.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity compliance, GRC Excellent knowledge of international standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, ISO 22301, etc. Experience with policy lifecycle platforms or compliance oversight tools (e.g., Baystream, Optial, or similar). Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Preferred Certifications

ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor CISA, CRISC ITIL
