Role Description

The

Cybersecurity & ICT Lecturer

will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in the areas of

Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and related disciplines

. This role requires both

academic expertise and practical industry knowledge

to ensure that learners develop the technical and professional skills required for progression into higher education and successful employment in the IT sector.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops in Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, Networking, and related areas. Develop, update, and maintain course materials to meet awarding body/university standards. Supervise student projects, assignments, and assessments while ensuring academic integrity. Provide guidance, mentoring, and academic support to learners. Contribute to curriculum design, programme reviews, and quality assurance processes. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and integrate industry trends into teaching.

Qualifications and Experience

Master's degree in

Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline

. Teaching/lecturing experience in higher education (preferred). Professional certifications such as

CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or ITIL

(advantage). Strong communication, presentation, and student engagement skills. Experience in

practical IT labs and online/blended teaching

delivery is highly valued.
