Position Overview
This Customs Co-Worker role in Dubai supports Emirates Logistics' import and export activities by handling documentation, data entry, payment processing, and customs coordination to ensure smooth movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process DP World payments on the same day of BOE or ED
  • Download and merge inbound documents within 24 hours of BOE
  • Download and merge outbound documents within 24 hours of receiving all files
  • File non-remittance claims within 2 days of receiving final SWB
  • Create and maintain outbound documentation folders after ED processing
  • Check and update COK status for inbound shipments
  • Support inbound and outbound operations to meet set KRAs
  • Verify accuracy of documents before processing
  • Process inbound and outbound BOE
  • Update invoice and EDI data in the EL master file and save documents in the common folder
  • Create and forward shipments from DCO within required timelines and escalate delays
  • Follow up on escalated files
  • Check BL for consumable shipments within 24 hours of SWB receipt and update records
  • Ensure complete document sets are prepared for handover
  • Update BOE numbers in the master file
  • Update EL Master based on arrival reports and ITM
  • Update consumables tracker and verify documents on notification day
  • Track inbound documents for completion within ATD + 2 days
  • Process and share inbound shipment information within 24 hours of arrival
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Good MS Excel and computer skills
  • Basic knowledge of Dubai Trade
  • Previous experience using MS Office
  • Strong data entry accuracy and speed
  • Good English communication skills
  • Alert, proactive, and detail-oriented attitude
