Customs Co-worker - Emirates Logistics Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
The Customs Co-worker - Emirates Logistics Dubai will manage customs documentation and processing for inbound and outbound shipments. The role requires accuracy in data entry, knowledge of Dubai Trade systems, and timely handling of customs payments and records to ensure smooth cargo clearance and compliance with regulations.

Core Duties

  • Process DP World payments within the same day of BOE/ED date
  • Download and merge inbound documents within 24 hours of BOE processing
  • Download and merge outbound documents within 24 hours of receiving complete sets of documents
  • File non-remittance claims within two days of receiving the final SWB
  • Create folders and save outbound shipment files after ED processing
  • Verify documents for accuracy before processing inbound and outbound BOE
  • Update invoice and EDI data in the EL master file and maintain records in the shared folder
  • Create and forward shipments from DCO within the required timeframe and escalate issues when necessary
  • Track inbound documents and ensure processing within ATD +2 days
  • Update BOE numbers in the master file to ensure timely documentation
  • Maintain and update consumables tracker, arrival reports, and ITM notifications on the same day received
  • Support inbound and outbound teams in processing deliveries to meet KPIs
  • Prepare and share shipment information within 24 hours of arrival
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field
  • Entry-level candidates considered; prior experience in customs documentation is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications
  • Basic knowledge of Dubai Trade processes preferred
  • Strong data entry skills with accuracy and speed
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Proactive, alert, and detail-oriented approach
