The Customer Service Specialist is a key role reporting to the Fire Suppression Products Customer Service Manager located in Dubai and is managing the Order Administration and Order fulfillment functions for the Middle East and Africa region. You will be based in our Dubai Office and will be part of a team that is focused on expanding our footprint and customer base to achieve our strong growth objectives.
You will be responsible for entire equipment sales operations either direct or through distribution network. As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to generate satisfactory results.
How you will do it
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be concentrating on order processing value chain including entire equipment sales operations either direct or through distribution network.
You will participate in commercial operations with the customer and sales team, oversee the review and acceptance process for all incoming Projects and Sales Orders, establish internal procedures to ensure all sales order documentation is complete & manage the process. You will manage the order placement activities for the region & ensure compliance to company purchasing policies and procedures, delegation of authority and trade compliance guidelines. You will ensure correct entry & update of data to the ERP system.
You will liaise with factories and its stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely expediting of orders, deliveries and sales support. You will manage effective communication between Sales organization, Operations, Customers and other functions within the business; manage the review and processing of incoming Letters of Credit to ensure compliance with Company credit policies, mitigation of risks, optimization of costs, manage customer claims wincluding warranty claims and holding up of commercial standards. You will be a contact between logistics team and the customer for loading, shipping, and managing all the required shipping documentation to ship the order.
You pay attention to detail without losing overall perspective of business and corporate requirements. You have good inter-personal skills and ability to be a part of a large multi-cultured team.

Required
Minimum 2 years of customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Familiarity with SAP systems and practices (JED knowledge is a plus)
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
