Customer Service Executive (Freight Forwarding)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: AED 3,000 - 4,000 per month (subject to experience and qualifications)

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Executive to be the vital link between our company and our valued customers.
Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Executive, you will be responsible for managing key client accounts and ensuring the smooth execution of their shipments from origin to destination. You will serve as the primary point of contact, providing exceptional service, timely updates, and effective coordination between clients, overseas agents, and internal operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing professional and timely responses to inquiries via email and phone.
  • Shipment Coordination: Manage the end-to-end process of freight shipments (Air, Sea, & Land), coordinating with carriers, warehouses, and overseas offices.
  • Documentation Handling: Prepare, check, and process all required shipping documents accurately and in a timely manner (e.g., Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin).
  • System Updates: Maintain and update the internal logistics software/system with accurate shipment status, milestones, and documentation.
  • Problem Resolution: Proactively identify potential issues and provide effective solutions for any delays or problems that arise during the shipment lifecycle.
  • Rate Negotiation & Quotations: Assist in providing freight rates and preparing quotations for customers as needed.
  • Reporting: Generate and provide regular status reports to customers and management.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of UAE-specific experience in a customer service or operations role within the Logistics / Freight Forwarding industry. Candidates with UAE back-office experience in the same industry are also encouraged to apply.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a diverse client base is critical.
  • Coordination Skills: Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple shipments and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of freight forwarding processes, incoterms, and documentation. Experience with shipment handling from booking to delivery is highly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook) and experience with freight forwarding software (e.g., Cargowise, Magaya, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Personal Attributes: A proactive, problem-solving attitude, high attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
