Role Description

This is a full-time, entry-level

Customer Service Agent

role based in Dubai. The position focuses on supporting customers throughout their online shopping journey -- from initial inquiries to delivery follow-ups.

You will communicate with customers via WhatsApp, email, and social platforms, providing accurate product information, order updates, and general assistance. This role does not require previous e-commerce experience; full training, templates, and ongoing guidance will be provided. The ideal candidate is friendly, organised, and comfortable managing multiple conversations at once.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Communication

Respond to customer inquiries through WhatsApp and email in a polite, timely, and professional manner Provide order updates, delivery timelines, and tracking details Answer basic product questions (sizes, materials, framing options) Escalate complex cases to the E-commerce & Performance Lead

Order & Delivery Support

Coordinate with the production team regarding order readiness Assist with general delivery questions, returns, and minor complaints Document customer interactions clearly and accurately

General Administration

Maintain organised, up-to-date customer records Monitor ongoing orders and proactively update customers Support post-delivery follow-ups and feedback collection

QualificationsEssential

Strong written and spoken English Friendly, calm, helpful communication style Basic computer literacy (email, WhatsApp, typing) Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple conversations at once Reliable, punctual, and consistent Willingness to learn and follow established processes

Preferred (Not Required)

Prior experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or admin Familiarity with Shopify or e-commerce tools Additional languages (Arabic, Tagalog, Hindi) Interest in art, home decor, or online shopping environments
