We aim to meet and exceed our customers expectations \xe2\x80\x93 and Safety and quality are critical to ensuring that we have safer work environments and our products or services provided to our customers are of the highest quality As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for activities/initiatives related to customer requests for factory approvals, customer complaints and certifications. You will apply safety & quality tools and work closely with various teams to improve and optimize the processes related to Performance. You will also support the ISO9001 Quality Management System, and Safety certifications ISO 45001, 18001 and will manage projects to improve it. You will have close interaction with other MEA Measurement Solutions functions, especially with Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Sales, Marketing, Finance, etc. This position supports the Measurement Solutions, MEA Organization and is based in Dubai. The major responsibilities of the Customer Quality Engineer include managing overall Customer-related Quality activities and supporting maintaining & improving the Quality and safety Management systems. In addition to good interpersonal and collaboration skills, the Customer Quality Engineer is expected to drive process improvement using quality & safety tools. Job Responsibilities
  • Managing the factory approvals by MEA customers for applicable factories globally.
  • Managing and supporting to resolve the customer feedback in time.
  • Effective management of Customer Notifications
  • Support in implementing and maintaining Quality Management systems.
  • Support to Maintain and Develop QMS & SMS for continuous improvement in Quality and safety performance.
  • Plan and execute various QHSE initiatives identified in the MEA Strategic objectives.
  • Harmonize and align the MSOL processes and activities within MEA per the global Quality & Safety Management system.
  • Maintain ISO Quality and safety Documentation and Certification
  • Effective management of Corrective and Preventive actions
  • Handling of Customer complaints, Warranty and Post Warranty Support
  • Collaborate with various functions to identify, share, and implement best practices and lessons learned from Global/MEA Quality communications.
  • Support to plan, conduct and monitor Audits & related action items
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
  • Prepare regular reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
  • Develop, recommend, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
  • Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Monitor risk management activities.
  • Take ownership of Company\xe2\x80\x99s Safety, Quality Policy, Core and Operating Values
  • Other tasks as assigned based on the business needs
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering in Mechanical or Instrumentation
  • 1-2 years of experience in Quality

  • Ensure effective leadership in HSE, leading by example setting the direction for a successful health and safety program and creating a foundation for a positive safety culture.
  • Discuss Health and Safety first or at least early on the agenda of every meeting.
  • Ensure effective management of HSSE risks and impacts. Report all hazards, incidents and Near Misses in line with the MEA Emerson HSE incident policy. Active involvement in the investigation of accidents, near misses, incidents and ill health where required.
  • Conduct all HSE training assigned to you as an employee
