Overview

***This position will support APS5 and it is contingent upon award***

Reports to the Installation Logistics, Maintenance Director and provides oversite of Logistics Operations, to include monitoring of daily operations of the Maintenance Departments to ensure personnel exhibit superior workmanship and focus to deliver quality products and services. Ensures sections complete all assigned tasks in accordance with the Installation Logistics LOGCAP V Performance Work Statement (PWS) and associated Technical Exhibits (T.E.s) and Contract Deliverables Requirements Lists (CDRLs), as well as maintaining compliance with USG regulatory and procedural guidance and company policy. Assists Management in reviewing and responding to Customer comments, Internal Corrective Action Requests (ICARs), and USG Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) as applicable. Ensures that Customer concerns are addressed in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner. Assists Department Managers in reviewing PWS and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Assists in providing guidance and preparing technical documents in support of proposals and other requirements, as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Collects and analyzes data identifying trends and acts as an advisor on operational matters.

+ Monitors supply functions, purchase requests, personnel actions, and administrative support for the Directorate.

+ Assists the Sr. Director and Department Managers in preparation of plans, budgets, self-assessments, staffing, proposals, estimates, and information requests.

+ Provides oversight of work order tracking, purchase request tracking, overtime tracking, transportation and leased vehicle support, and information management support.

+ Monitors Directorate to verify compliance with stated PWS and T.E. requirements, CDRL development and submission, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidance, USG regulatory and procedural requirements, and Vectrus Corporate and Program policies and procedures.

+ Collects data and recommends process improvements under the Vectrus Quality Management Program to the Sr. Director, Installation Logistics (IL).

+ Monitors personnel responsiveness to quality, quantity, and safety of all work performed.

+ Takes decisive action to eliminate unsafe conditions; ensures compliance with Vectrus and Corporate Safety Program requirements.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Education/Experience Requirements

+ Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

+ Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen

+ A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's License and host nation Driver's License, is required.

+ Secret Clearance required for exposure to sensitive information related to USG government activities and contract requirements.

+ Experience:

+ A minimum of ten (10) years general experience which provides a good basis or general knowledge of the principles of organization, management, and administration.

+ Five (5) years specialized experience operating managerial activities in a type of work involving a combination of logistical and operational support functions directly related to Military garrison logistics management and readiness.

+ Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination/management of resources.

+ Knowledge of principles and processes for providing quality Customer service and support. This includes Customer need assessments, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of Customer satisfaction.

+ Knowledgeable of how to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

+ Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language with proficiency.

+ Must possess a high degree of Military logistical support experience and expertise to effectively manage complex logistical operations within the Installation Logistics (IL) Directorate.

+ Requires a collaborative work style, fostering effective cohesion, cooperation, and Teamwork.

+ Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office products and/or other related applications.

+ Skills

+ Personal computer, laptops, scanners, printers, telephones, 10 key calculators, data devices, and other office related equipment.

+ Supervisory Responsibilities

+ Project Management.

+ Budget preparation and monitoring.

+ Management and leadership.

+ Working Conditions:

+ Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

+ Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

+ Physical Requirements:

+ Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

+ Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.

+ Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.

+ Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies
