Job Description
Job Purpose
To provide safe and effective Hijama (Cupping) therapy services in compliance with UAE Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations and the standards of patient care within the medical center.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
Hijama (wet & dry cupping)
procedures as per MOH standards and scope of practice. Conduct patient assessments before treatment, including medical history review, contraindications, and informed consent. Ensurestrict hygiene, sterilization, and infection control
measures during all procedures. Educate patients about the therapeutic benefits, potential side effects, and aftercare of cupping therapy. Maintain accurate and completepatient records
in line with MOH documentation requirements. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care. Adhere to allMOH laws, ethical standards, and clinic policies
. Participate incontinuous professional development (CPD)
as mandated by MOH licensing.Qualifications & Licensing Requirements
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in
Complementary & Alternative Medicine
or related health field (recognized by MOH).MOH Professional License
as Cupping/Hijama Practitioner(active or eligibility letter). Minimum2 years' clinical experience
in Hijama / complementary therapy. ValidBLS (Basic Life Support) certification
. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications to cupping therapy. Fluency inArabic and/or English
preferred.Core Competencies
