1. JOB DETAILS

Job Title: Culture Analysis & Reporting Unit Head Sector: Strategic Affairs Department: Business Intelligence Section: Research Reports To (Job Title): Research Section Head

2. JOB PURPOSE Oversee the overall delivering of culture-focused performance analyses and other research studies in close collaboration with respective teams from Culture Sector. The Unit Head role will ensure using top class research tools and frameworks and will lead leveraging internal and external data to deliver comprehensive reports that support/enable enhanced decision making by the management team and by the Culture Sector.

3. ACCOUNTABILITIES Key Accountabilities Research Strategies & Agenda . Participate in developing strategies and plans for Research Section in line with the overall Business Intelligence strategic priorities and plans. . Guide and lead the development of culture-focused research agenda and ensure that sector research priorities and needs are clearly identified. Research, Analysis & Findings . Supervise the overall conduction of analytical research on culture sector as well as monitor the team's effort on analyzing trends across the globe to identify new and latest trends. . Oversee the conduction of annual surveys using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Ensure that all culture ad-hoc research requests are catered on an urgent basis in cooperation with relevant teams. . Direct and supervise conducting desk research and pro-actively searching for new sources of data, in order to add value to the business units. . Engage and manage relevant Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) such statisticians, researchers, marketing and other professionals both internal and external consultants for specialised services to support culture's strategic planning. . Lead promoting data for strategic analysis across culture sector, while ensuring high level of data quality and accessibility. . Approve selection of research and data tools, application and framework to enhance data quality, integrity and capability. . Review and endorse research information and findings across both international and domestic markets from benchmarking reports and ensure that key trends are clearly highlighted. . Direct the team to compile and utilize relevant studies and benchmarks to develop evidence and fact-based recommendations. Stakeholder Management & Sector Reports . Manage effective relationships with stakeholders and end-users, while ensuring effective understanding of their needs and appropriately manage their expectations and agreed objectives. . Foster strategic partnerships with a diverse array of stakeholders and identify areas of potential collaboration. . Plan, prioritise and manage stakeholder for all research projects and initiatives on time to ensure business continuity and agreed timelines are met. . Oversee the overall compiling and preparation of reports on overall culture sector performance in liaison with the respective sections / departments within Culture Sector. . Lead the preparation and conduction of presentations and executive summaries on key research projects and findings and present them to top management in line with defined timelines and requirements. Policies, Processes and Procedures . Follow all Research section policies, processes, procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner Collaboration . Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on matters related to Research area in order to facilitate flow of information and also to build awareness in those areas. Day-to-Day Operations . Follow the day-to-day operations set by the Line Manager in the Research section to ensure continuity of work and the delivery of effective and high quality outputs. . Report on a regular basis to the Line Manager on their operational activities, Its challenges, hurdles and methods of resolution or mitigation etc. as required to keep the Line Manager informed and updated about their activities. EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) . Comply with all relevant EHS guidelines, policies and procedures, by reporting incidents and hazards on a timely manner, and reduce consumption of natural resources to support in protecting the environment and ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES Qualification (e.g. Academic Qualification, Certifications, Licenses) . Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sociology/Anthropology or equivalent Experience . At least 5 years of experience in business process, quality and operational excellence role. Preferably, someone proficient in numerical analysis and able to work with large and diverse data sets. Plus, previous culture / heritage experience would be preferable. Critical Skills . Strategic decision-making: ability to make timely decisions, and explain decisions to ensure commitment and execution. . Excellent communication skills: ability to prepare written documents and reports, as well as prepare oral presentations. . Analytical and problem-solving skills: ability to analyse problems, identify alternative solutions, anticipate consequences, and provide recommendations. . Building relationships and collaboration skills: ability to proactively build and strengthen positive personal and organizational relationships. . Effective organizing and planning skills: ability to create and keep deadlines, set and meet goals, manage schedules, and think strategically. . Strong technical and IT skills: ability to gather and interpret data, ability to utilise computer technology, and ability to use applications and software. . Critical thinking skills: ability to analyze situations, understand connections between ideas and make informed decisions.
