We are looking for a dedicated and experienced

CSSD Trainer

to join our team on a part-time basis.

Job brief:

We are seeking a CSSD Educator to lead and deliver high-quality training sessions for our academic and professional development programs in the Central Sterile Services field. You will train, guide, and assess students to ensure they acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to perform sterilization, decontamination, and infection control procedures according to healthcare standards.

CSSD Trainer responsibilities include:

Teaching students and professionals about sterilization techniques, decontamination processes, and infection prevention. Designing, delivering, and evaluating educational curricula for CSSD and related healthcare sterilization courses. Planning and developing course materials, lesson plans, and training modules. Reviewing and updating all educational resources, including manuals and testing material. Staying up-to-date with the latest CSSD equipment, procedures, and international guidelines. Demonstrating correct handling, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments and medical equipment. Assessing student performance, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate training records. Guiding learners in applying evidence-based CSSD practices in clinical settings.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Allied Health, or related healthcare discipline. CSSD certification or equivalent professional qualification. Minimum 2 years of CSSD-related work experience. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience in classroom teaching/training preferred. Strong knowledge of sterilization equipment, techniques, and infection control standards. Ability to prepare engaging PowerPoint presentations and use various teaching aids. Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong interpersonal skills.
