Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
CSSD Technician
to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the effective cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, packing, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment in accordance with facility policies, safety standards, and international sterilization guidelines.Key Responsibilities
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and devices following established protocols. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and washer-disinfectors. Inspect instruments for functionality and ensure proper assembly before packaging. Prepare, wrap, label, and store sterile instrument trays and surgical sets. Monitor and document sterilization cycles, logs, and quality indicators. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe CSSD workspace. Follow infection control policies and maintain compliance with DHA/DOH/MOH standards. Assist in inventory control of sterile supplies and report shortages or malfunctioning equipment. Support surgical and clinical teams with timely delivery of sterilized equipment.
