Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment. Operate and maintain autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and other sterilization equipment. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and CSSD guidelines. Manage inventory of sterile supplies and instruments, ensuring availability and proper rotation. Collaborate with operating theater and clinical staff to prioritize instrument needs. Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance. Follow hospital policies and international standards (e.g., JCI, DHA guidelines).
Requirements:
Diploma or certification in Sterilization Technology/ CSSD or a related field. Minimum
2 years of experience
as a CSSD Technician in a hospital setting.DHA License or Eligibility Letter
is mandatory. In-depth knowledge of sterilization techniques, equipment, and infection control standards. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure. Good communication skills in EnglishJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
