Job Description

Dr. Rami Hamed Center (DRHC) is a multispecialty day case hospital in Dubai that aims to provide high-quality healthcare services by focusing on the latest innovations and operational excellence. We specialize in one-day case surgeries and cater to various specializations ranging from general medicine to complex specialty. DRHC was established in 2014 under the founding Director Dr. Rami Hamed.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning & Sterilization :

Clean, inspect, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments, devices, and equipment following established protocols.

Packaging:

Properly package and label sterilized equipment, ensuring all items are ready for use and easy to access when needed.

Inventory Management:

Maintain an organized inventory of sterile and non-sterile supplies. Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.

Sterilization Equipment Operation:

Operate autoclaves, sterilizers, and other cleaning and sterilization equipment in compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Quality Control:

Perform quality control checks on sterilization cycles and document all processes accurately. Report any deviations or issues with sterilization procedures.

Collaboration:

Work closely with healthcare staff, including nurses, surgeons, and doctors, to ensure timely delivery of sterilized instruments and supplies.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, cleaning procedures, and inventory logs in accordance with healthcare facility protocols and regulations.

Safety & Compliance:

Adhere to all infection control guidelines, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements (such as OSHA and AAMI standards).

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a CSSD or healthcare setting within the UAE is preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent (required). Certification in Central Sterile Services or Sterile Processing (preferred but not required). Knowledge of sterilization techniques, medical instrumentation, and infection control standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required..
