Job Description

A Cruise Sales Agent is responsible for aggressively promoting and selling cruise packages to customers, meeting and exceeding sales targets consistently. This role demands high energy, excellent communication skills, deep product knowledge, and a proactive sales approach to convert leads into confirmed bookings. The agent must build strong customer relationships, provide exceptional service, and capitalize on every sales opportunity to maximize revenue.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:


1. Aggressive Sales & Target Achievement



Actively generate and follow up on leads via phone, email, social media, and in-person interactions. Drive sales by upselling and cross-selling cruise products, shore excursions, upgrades, and onboard amenities. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs set by management. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new and existing markets.

2. Customer Consultation & Needs Assessment



Understand customer preferences, budget, and travel requirements to recommend suitable cruise options. Provide detailed information about cruise itineraries, cabins, pricing, promotions, and policies. Resolve objections and close sales effectively, demonstrating strong negotiation skills.

3. Product Knowledge & Market Awareness



Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all cruise products, including ships, routes, onboard services, and competitive offerings. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor pricing, and seasonal promotions to position products competitively. Participate in training sessions, webinars, and workshops to improve product knowledge.

4. Booking Management & Documentation



Accurately process reservations, payments, cancellations, and refunds using the company's booking system. Ensure compliance with company policies, terms and conditions, and legal requirements. Coordinate with internal teams (finance, operations, marketing) to ensure smooth booking fulfillment.

5. Relationship Building & Customer Retention



Build strong, lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Provide excellent after-sales support, including itinerary updates and pre-departure assistance. Handle customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.

6. Marketing & Lead Generation Support



Collaborate with the marketing team to implement sales campaigns and promotional activities. Actively participate in trade shows, travel fairs, and networking events to generate leads. Utilize CRM tools to track and nurture leads systematically.

7. Reporting & Sales Analysis



Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports highlighting achievements, pipeline status, and challenges. Analyze sales performance data to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales tactics. Provide feedback and market insights to management for product development and strategy refinement.

Ideal Candidate Profile:



Proven track record in aggressive sales, preferably in travel, hospitality, or cruise industry. Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills. High self-motivation with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment. Familiarity with CRM software and booking platforms. Passionate about travel and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
