An excellent Opportunity for a Credit Risk Manager is available with an international bank, one of the largest in their mainland who are at an exciting point in their growth with expansion in the UAE, in Dubai International Financial Centre(DIFC). The branch will be committed to servicing not only locally-based UAE businesses, but also the greater GCC market.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to Head of Risk Management, you will develop, review, update and improve the risk policies, procedures and manuals

• Assist to draft all regular and ad-hoc risk-related documentation or reports required by the regulator, Head Office and DIFC Branch Executive Team
• Review and comment on credit submissions (new lending, consent & variations, post-approval regular and/or periodic review, credit memo)
• Perform credit analysis, research, risk assessments on submissions and draft Credit Recommendations for submissions
• Prepare the Credit submission to the Branch Head and Head Office
• Prepare risk-related reports, e.g. portfolio report, quarterly risk assessment report, country risk report, industry research paper or product analysis paper

The Credit Risk Manager will possess a Bachelor's degree or above and excellent experience in comprehensive risk management. You will have strong research and analytical skills in identifying, analyzing and managing risks, and strong motivation to maintain an effective second line of defence for risk management in a newly-setup branch. You will have comprehensive knowledge of the DFSA risk management rules and regulations, the Head Office risk management culture and policies, and the industry best practice. You will have strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills in English, as well as relationship building with stakeholders and regulators.
