Job Title

: Credit Controller - Fire and Safety Maintenance Division

Job Purpose

To manage and oversee the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, assessing creditworthiness of clients, and maintaining healthy cash flow within the Fire and Safety Maintenance division.

Key Responsibilities

Assess credit data and financial statements of new and existing customers to determine creditworthiness. Set and monitor credit limits in line with company policy and risk guidelines. Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices through calls, emails, and letters. Resolve billing disputes in coordination with the operations and sales teams. Liaise with customers to negotiate payment plans when necessary. Monitor aging reports to track overdue accounts. Allocate incoming payments accurately and timely. Ensure all transactions comply with financial policies and procedures. Generate weekly and monthly reports on collection status, bad debts, and disputed invoices. Provide cash flow forecasts and updates to management. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting regulations. Recommend and initiate legal proceedings for severely delinquent accounts in coordination with legal counsel. Coordinate with the Fire and Safety maintenance team to ensure billing aligns with service delivery. Work closely with the sales, service, and finance teams to streamline processes.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Minimum of 3-5 years experience in credit control, ideally within the service or maintenance industry. Knowledge of fire and safety services is a plus. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficient in ERP/accounting software and MS Excel. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
