DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES About the role
Our company is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to lead our accounting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations and ensuring that all financial transactions are processed accurately and timely.
As a Finance Controller, you will:
Recovery and Collection
Report on collection activity & accounts receivable status
Managing and collecting debts from company debtors/Partners.
Responding to client inquiries.
Approving quotes & SOs for invoicing
Preparing bi-monthly forecast.
Liaising with customers and the sales team
PDC collection & management
Bank receipts identification & allocation
Resolving problems in relation to invoice payments, and reconciling customers month-end accounts.
Report to management on outstanding issues, whilst highlighting potential debtor problems
Identifying credit risks & Exposure.
Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
Assisting in the LC process & negotiation
Assisting in the annual audit preparation related to credit management
Assisting in the preparation for HSBC Lines (TWC + Import Lines)
Credit Management
Preparing new credit requests and conducting client credit checks
Documents archiving & database management
Ensuring credit & collection policies & procedures are followed within the team
KPI's
Collection Effectiveness Index (CEI)
Average Age of Debt or Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
