As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for a skilled Credit Controller to join our team. Our finance team is essential to our operations, and we are seeking a detail-oriented and driven credit controller to lead our efforts in managing incoming payments and maintaining financial accuracy.

Position Overview:

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts from our customers, ensuring timely payments and minimizing financial risk to the business. You will work closely with the UK finance and sales teams, using your communication and negotiation skills to resolve queries and disputes efficiently.

Hours would be 11am - 8pm or 10-7 Dependent upon the time difference between UAE and UK

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices Proactively contact customers by phone and email regarding overdue payments Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders Investigate and resolve payment and billing queries quickly and professionally Monitor customer accounts and place accounts on hold when necessary Prepare and issue monthly/Weekly statements and account reconciliations Support the preparation of reports on debtor balances and aged debt analysis Work closely with the Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve disputes Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet targets Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems, e.g., SAP, Sage is advantageous Team player with a positive and proactive attitude Preferably be able to speak Turkish fluently.
