Our client, a leading

equipment rental company with strong operations across the GCC,

is looking for a proactive

Credit Controller

to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding cash flow, managing credit exposure, and supporting customer relationships in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collections. Conduct credit evaluations and recommend appropriate credit limits. Follow up on overdue accounts and maintain low Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). Resolve billing disputes and payment discrepancies efficiently. Coordinate with internal teams (sales, finance, operations) to support customer processes. Escalate long-outstanding accounts and manage external collection processes if needed. Maintain up-to-date records of all collection activities and prepare aging reports. Enforce company credit policies and recommend process improvements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 4-6 years of credit control experience, preferably in the

construction or equipment rental sector.

Full professional proficiency in Arabic is essential.

Strong knowledge of credit risk evaluation and UAE debt recovery procedures. Proficient in ERP/accounting systems and Excel-based reporting. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. UAE/GCC market experience is highly preferred.
