The Credit Card Sales Officer is responsible for promoting and selling credit cards to individuals through various sales channels, including direct sales, telemarketing. The role involves identifying potential customers, explaining credit card features and benefits, and guiding applicants through the application process.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively promote and sell credit card products to prospective customers.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through outdoor marketing, cold calls, referrals, and events.
Explain the features, benefits, fees, and eligibility requirements of various credit card products.
Assist customers in filling out application forms and ensure proper documentation.
Achieve monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers for repeat business and referrals.
Ensure compliance with bank policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Follow up with applicants and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of applications.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Proven experience in sales, preferably in banking or financial services.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
Customer-focused with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Basic knowledge of credit card products and banking services is an advantage.
