Job Description

The Crawler Machine Operator is responsible for operating crawler-mounted heavy equipment used for a variety of tasks such as excavation, lifting, grading, or earthmoving. The operator must ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery while following established procedures and adhering to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate crawler machinery

: Safely and efficiently control heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, or cranes to move materials, clear land, or perform construction tasks.

Inspect and maintain equipment

: Perform routine maintenance checks, including checking fluids, lubricating parts, and making minor repairs or adjustments to ensure the equipment is functioning properly.

Follow project specifications

: Read and understand blueprints, grade stakes, and construction plans to ensure precise work performance according to project requirements.

Load and unload materials

: Use the crawler equipment to move, load, and unload materials like soil, rocks, and debris from one location to another.

Worksite coordination

: Communicate with other workers on-site to coordinate tasks and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

Monitor work conditions

: Continuously assess ground conditions, terrain, and load distribution to ensure safe operation in varying environments.

Adhere to safety standards

: Follow all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations, company safety policies, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while on the job.

Document work

: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, hours worked, and tasks completed on a daily basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience

: Previous experience operating crawler-mounted heavy equipment such as cranes, bulldozers, or excavators.

Certification

: UAE valid certification or equivalent heavy machinery operation certifications may be required.

Physical fitness

: Ability to work long hours outdoors in different weather conditions and lift heavy objects as needed.

Mechanical knowledge

: Understanding of mechanical systems, basic repairs, and routine maintenance of heavy machinery.

Attention to detail

: Ability to follow detailed instructions, interpret site plans, and work with precision.

Communication

: Effective verbal communication to coordinate with supervisors, team members, and other tradespeople on the site.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

Experience:

Construction: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:

* Crawler Machine Operator License in UAE (Preferred)
