Operate offshore cranes for loading, unloading, and transferring equipment, materials, and supplies to and from vessels and platforms.
Conduct pre-use inspections, routine maintenance, and function tests of cranes and lifting gear.
Ensure all lifting operations are carried out safely and in compliance with the company's lifting plans and procedures.
Coordinate with Deck Foreman, Rigging Crew, and other departments to plan and execute lifting activities.
Maintain accurate records of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance.
Report any equipment malfunction, near misses, or safety incidents immediately to the Supervisor.
Support general deck operations when crane work is not required.
Participate actively in safety meetings, drills, and toolbox talks.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience operating offshore cranes.
Certified Offshore Crane Operator.
Thorough knowledge of lifting operations and offshore safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret lifting plans and equipment specifications.
QE (LNG) APPROVED
Valid Training & Certifications (Mandatory):
T-BOSIET (Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training)
H2S OPITO Approved
H2S/BA QE Approved
