Description

The Country Manager - UAE is responsible for identifying, opening and growing new accounts in Enterprise market in addition to demonstrating experience driving company growth by meeting and aggressively exceeding targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists SPs in establishing business plans and liaises with them to identify business opportunities.
  • Works closely with the technical staff to advise of requirements and parameters of SPs and acts as a single point of contact for organizing training and providing service support to the SPs.
  • Monitors and manages account relationships with the objective of increasing the penetration of the broadband service.
  • Performs related duties as assigned, such as preparing business development plans, revenue forecasts, etc for specific regions, attending trade shows, implementing and advising on marketing strategy, monitoring and developing the performance of SPs relative to sales efforts.
  • Develops business processes for pre and post launch sales activities including enquiries, troubleshooting and the like. Monitors how such procedures actually work and makes changes to improve the process. This also includes the incorporation of any possible acquisitions.
  • Must give direction and demonstrate the rationale as a learning strategy to others.
  • Develops ways to improve activities and results and contributes to implementation.
  • Lets people affected by decisions know what is happening.
  • Develops formal and informal relationships with a wide circle of people beyond current clients.
  • Develop and plan how the current direction may be affected by future developments and trends and to foster strategic thinking in the organization.
  • Fully competent in the application of all required Sales/Marketing processes i.e. preplanning, approach, evolving needs, presentation, closing the sale, and after-sales service.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of Proven experience in a relevant telecom or technology company
  • Should have managed a huge base of service providers.
  • Good communication and team management skills.
  • Capable of identifying true client needs and tailoring products for a variety of client groups.
  • Ability to analyze all options and optimize resources for achievement of overall objectives.
  • Maintains a positive outlook and shows flexibility to new approaches.
  • Ability of taking the steps necessary to produce a productive climate of cooperation and morale in addition to protecting and promoting the organization to outsiders.
  • Being a people person, be fully competent in respect of interpersonal skills, relationship building skills, negotiation and assertiveness skills and conflict resolution.
  • Fully competent in setting up and commissioning market surveys and customer satisfaction reports Background in design and copywriting is a plus.
  • Experience in market analysis.
  • High Business Acumen.
  • BS in Business or related field. MBA or equivalent a plus, but not required.
