Job Description

In this position you will oversee all financial aspects of Hyva Dubai ; ensure compliant, timely and accurate country reporting. Main Job Purposes:
  • Maintain all aspects of general ledger and internal control
  • Ensure compliant, timely and accurate country internal and external reporting
  • Support Business Controller initiatives
Key Accountabilities:
  • Maintain transaction processes and systems to ensure effective financial reporting and operational information
  • Manage general accounting and closing procedures
  • Timely and accurate internal and external reporting based in IFRS and Hyva Group Policies
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements as well as internal controls
  • Ensure adequate safeguarding of Company assets
  • Support Business Controller in:
    • planning & control cycles: strategic plan, budgeting, forecasting, monthly analyses and interpretation of results
    • implementing internal procedures
    • ad hoc analysis and business cases
  • Support collection of receivables process
  • Seek improvements in the Company's information systems and processes Critical Partnerships: Internal:
    • Business Controller
    • Country Managing Director
    • Regional Controller
    • Country Functional Leads
    • Corporate Finance
    • Hyva International Finance Department
    External:
    • Auditors
    • Tax consultants
    • Banks
    • Insurance companies

    Qualification profile
    Professional qualification
    and experience:
    • Bachelor Degree in Finance / Controlling / Accounting
    • 1-3 years experience in company administration
    • Analytical skills and logical approach
    • Experienced with advanced Excel models
    • Experience with ERP software.
