Job Description

Project Analysis:

Evaluate project specifications, plans, and requirements to understand the scope, materials, labor, and other factors involved.

Cost Estimation:

Develop cost estimates by analyzing data, performing calculations, and considering factors such as materials, labor, equipment, overhead, and potential risks.

Bid Preparation:

Prepare competitive bids for projects, taking into account all cost components, potential subcontractor or supplier quotes, and the company's desired profit margin.

Data Collection:

Gather information on pricing, labor rates, material costs, and other relevant data to inform the estimation process.

Risk Assessment:

Identify and assess potential risks that may impact project costs, including market fluctuations, regulatory changes, and unforeseen issues.

Cost Monitoring:

Continuously monitor and update cost estimates as new information becomes available, ensuring accuracy throughout the project's life cycle.

Qualifications:

Cost Management and Project Estimation skills Strong communication and effective budgeting skills Experience in project management and estimating in the kitchen industry Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Certification in Project Management or Estimation is a plus

Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to refine estimates and address any project-specific requirements.

Cost Reporting:

Generate and present detailed cost reports and analysis to management and clients, explaining the basis for the estimates.
