Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates for projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Analyze cost variations and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost tracking documents.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams on budgeting and cost planning.
Assist in contract evaluation, bid preparation, and vendor negotiations.
Maintain accurate records of project costs and updates.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and project specifications.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
Proven experience as a Cost Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of project cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control techniques.
Proficiency in MS Excel, project management, and cost control software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
