We're Hiring: Cost Controller (Dubai)

Skinny Genie is a fast-growing food production company. As we expand our operations in the UAE, we are building a team that blends food science, data, and creativity.

We're now looking for a

Cost Controller

with a sharp eye for numbers, deep ERP expertise, and a passion for

leveraging AI tools

to support intelligent growth.

Your Mission

As our Cost Controller, you'll play a key role in overseeing cost accuracy, improving reporting, and guiding strategic decisions across production, procurement, and finance. You'll:

Develop and manage product costing models

, including raw materials, labor, packaging, and overhead Analyze and report on

cost variances, production margins

, and resource efficiency

Optimize and operate Microsoft Business Central

for costing, inventory, and financial tracking Monitor

stock movement, wastage

, and stock valuation in collaboration with warehouse teams Partner with the founder and department heads to improve

forecasting and cost planning

Use

AI-powered tools

(like Power BI, Excel Copilot, or custom GPT workflows) to automate reporting and uncover insights Support monthly closing activities and inventory audits

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Finance, Accounting, Business

, or related discipline

3+ years of experience

in a

cost controller or similar role

, preferably in

food manufacturing or FMCG

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Central

is

mandatory

Solid command of

cost accounting

, variance analysis, and budgeting principles Comfortable with

AI tools and data automation

-- experience with Excel AI, Power BI, or similar tools is a strong plus Advanced

Excel/Spreadsheet analysis

and ERP reporting skills Highly analytical, organized, and collaborative
