The Role
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Cost Controller
to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of F&B cost control: from recipe and menu costing to inventory, variance analysis, and financial performance tracking. You'll play a key role in maintaining profitability while ensuring the highest quality standards across our operations.
What You'll Do
Suggest recipe and menu costings alongside the Executive Chef.
Monitor daily food cost reports and verify outlet control sheets.
Conduct random inventory checks and monthly stock counts with outlet teams.
Analyse budgets, variances, and profitability.
Ensure all menus are properly costed and reflect accurate margins.
Reconcile stock movements, inter-location transfers, and supplier invoices.
Track daily wastage, staff meal costs, and purchase stock updates.
Maintain accurate cost control systems and reports to support financial decisions.
Collaborate closely with department heads and train team members on cost systems.
What We're Looking For
2-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the F&B, catering, or hospitality industry.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
Strong analytical, financial, and communication skills.
A team player with excellent time management and the ability to perform under pressure.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
