The Role

Key Responsibilities:

Monthly Tasks o Monitoring and handling all special events taking place during the month, then analyze the cost related. o Conducting stores & outlets stocktaking, and then uploading into JANA, then verify the related differences. o Preparing for the month end reports, which include JVs, F&B reconciliations, inventories, final flash report, monthly consumption report etc. Cost Monitoring & Analysis o Track daily food and beverage costs and identify variances. o Analyse recipe costs, portion controls, and food waste to recommend cost-saving initiatives. o Monitor purchasing prices and vendor pricing changes. Inventory Management o Conduct regular stock counts of food, beverages, and operational supplies. o Maintain accurate records of stock movements (issuance, transfer, spoilage). o Reconcile inventory with POS and accounting systems. Reporting & Documentation o Prepare cost reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for management review. o Maintain up-to-date product costing sheets, pricing structures, and inventory records. o Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and SOPs. Collaboration & Coordination o Work closely with purchasing, kitchen, bar, and finance teams to ensure cost control standards are met. o Provide training to operational staff on inventory procedures and cost awareness. o Support menu engineering and pricing strategy based on food cost analysis.



Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field o Minimum 4-5 years of experience in cost control, preferably in the F&B sector o Strong understanding of F&B operations, procurement, and inventory systems o Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/POS systems (e.g., Infrasys, Jana) o High attention to detail and analytical skills o Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines o Full UAE driver's license (with own car). Preferred Qualifications: o Experience with menu costing tools or inventory software (e.g., Barvintory) o Fluency in [English / Arabic / other languages as applicable]
