Cost Controller
Job Description
Monitor and analyze costs related to projects, operations, and departments to ensure adherence to budgets.
Develop and maintain cost control systems and procedures.
Prepare and review cost reports, variance analyses, and financial forecasts.
Collaborate with project managers and department heads to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures.
Conduct regular audits of cost-related activities and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Provide detailed cost analyses and reports to support financial planning and decision-making.
Review and validate invoices and expenditures to ensure proper cost allocation.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing cost data and insights.
Address and resolve cost-related issues and discrepancies.
Requirements:
Qualifications: Technical Diploma in Cost Control, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of overall experience.
At least 5 years in a similar cost control or cost management role.
Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent attention to detail; proficiency in cost control software and MS Office Suite
