Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Cost Controller

with a strong background in the

Food & Beverage and Catering industry

, ideally from mid to large-scale operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling food, beverage, and operational costs, ensuring financial targets are met, and implementing efficient cost management practices in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze all daily F&B and catering cost activities. Control food and beverage inventories, issue reports, and perform variance analysis. Review supplier invoices and ensure alignment with purchase orders and negotiated prices. Coordinate with chefs and purchasing teams to optimize menu engineering and recipe costing. Conduct regular audits of inventory, production, and wastage reports across outlets or central kitchens. Monitor and maintain cost allocations across departments and events. Prepare detailed reports on cost trends, margin analysis, and budget variance for senior management. Participate in monthly stock takes and reconciliation of physical counts with system data. Develop and maintain a robust cost control system and ensure adherence to internal control policies. Work closely with catering sales and operations teams to evaluate cost implications for large-scale events. Ensure compliance with local regulations and company financial policies.

Requirements:

Nationality:

Arab preferred but open to all qualified candidates.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years as a cost controller in medium to large

F&B or catering companies

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications are an advantage. Strong knowledge of F&B cost control procedures, inventory systems, and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, FMC, iScala, etc.). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
