We are an engineering contracting firm in Dubai seeking a qualified
Cost Control Engineer
. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's cost control systems and ensuring that costs are aligned with budgetary guidelines, working closely with the finance and procurement departments to monitor and analyze expenditures.
Note: Candidates with UAE experience, particularly in engineering contracting companies, are preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Cost Controller
Languages: English (required)
Strong Excel skills
Experience with any ERP system is helpful, but not required
Responsibilities
Track and analyze daily operational expenses, particularly in high-cost areas. Implement control systems to prevent overspending.
Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Monitor actual expenses against the budget and provide variance analysis.
Work with the purchasing department to ensure the procurement process is cost-efficient while maintaining quality standards.
Prepare detailed cost analysis reports and present findings to management, identifying areas for potential savings or improvement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
