Develop and manage detailed project budgets and cost tracking systems.
Monitor actual project costs versus budgeted costs and analyze variances.
Prepare regular
cost forecasts
and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Generate and maintain comprehensive
Project Cost Reports (PCRs)
for internal and client reporting.
Coordinate with project controls, procurement, engineering, and construction teams to ensure alignment with cost objectives.
Support earned value analysis and provide input for progress and financial reporting.
Ensure proper coding and allocation of project expenditures in line with WBS and CBS structures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3-5 years
of experience in
cost control for EPC or oil & gas projects
.
Strong understanding of
budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost reporting
.
Proficiency in cost control software (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, Excel, or similar tools).
Solid understanding of project execution phases (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
Fluent in English; strong communication and reporting skills.
