Job Description
We are seeking a qualified
Cost Control Engineer
to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring project budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring proper financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost forecasts. Track and control project expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets. Review and verify contractor invoices, variations, and progress claims. Prepare periodic cost reports and financial updates for management. Coordinate with planning, procurement, and finance departments. Analyze project cost performance and identify cost-saving opportunities. Maintain and update cost databases and cost control systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in cost control within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of project budgeting, cost reporting, and financial analysis. Proficient in MS Excel and cost control software (e.g., Primavera, ERP systems). Excellent analytical and communication skills. Preferably with
Building / Oil & Gas
project experience.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
