Understand and analyze project estimates, including CHOD (Cost, Hours, and Others Direct), to ensure accurate cost forecasting and control. Coordinate with relevant parties to collect and verify feedback and information using feedback systems for preparing budget and cost control reports. Assist in preparing and compiling project budget and cost control reports using cost control systems, software, and procedures. Assist in generating valid project cost codes and ensure their integration with the applicable Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS). Calculate the actual value of work done, including cost and income, and forecast future costs to support financial planning and analysis. Review and check cost code allocation for correctness and proper alignment with project requirements. Review all project purchase orders and service orders, compare them with budget values, and ensure proper cost code allocation. Review invoices to ensure compliance with contract terms and actual returns, including accurate cost code allocation. Assume the duties of the Senior Cost Control Engineer during their absence, ensuring continuity of cost control processes. Integrate project data and generate management reports in coordination with Planning Engineers, Cost Control Engineers, and operating centers. Ensure compliance with PCS procedures and HSE standards to maintain a safe and regulated working environment. Educational Qualifications & Certifications BacheloraEUR(TM)s Degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent. Minimum 3 yearsaEUR(TM) experience in Project Cost Control in the Oil & Gas industry. Strong understanding of project cost control principles and practices. Proficiency in cost control systems, software, and procedures. Experience with cost code allocation and budget management. Ability to review and interpret purchase orders, service orders, and invoices. Effective coordination and communication skills. Commitment to compliance with PCS procedures and HSE standards.
