to manage and monitor cost control, commercial, and contractual aspects of facility management and maintenance projects. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, contract administration, and supporting project teams to ensure financial efficiency, compliance, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain cost control systems including
Cost to Complete (CTC), forecasts, accruals, and cash flow reports
Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and cost performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions
Prepare and verify
contractor and subcontractor payment applications
, payment certificates, and final accounts
Prepare
client invoices, variation claims, and cost-plus reconciliations
Review contract terms and ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations
Manage and administer contracts in line with
FIDIC and client requirements
Evaluate variation submissions, technical changes, and scope changes for cost impact
Prepare
value engineering proposals
, feasibility studies, and cost-saving strategies
Support dispute resolution and negotiations with subcontractors and stakeholders
Provide monthly and quarterly financial reports to management and project teams
Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to optimize cost efficiency
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in
Engineering
(Master's in Engineering & Management preferred)
MMUP / UPDA Certification
(Preferred)
Minimum
8 years of experience
in cost control, quantity surveying, or commercial management
Proven experience in
facility management or maintenance projects
is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of
cost control, contract administration, variations, and claims management
Experience in cost-plus contracts and subcontractor performance management
Proficient in
AutoCAD, Primavera P6, Power BI
, and MS Office
Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills
