Accomplish results through lower-level subordinate supervisors or exempt specialist employees. Directs subordinates based on organizational goals and company policy. Work is reviewed in terms of meetings the organization's objectives and schedules. Receive objective-oriented assignments Establish operating policies that affect subordinate units Recommend modifications to organizational policies May manage a staff function of the company Responsible for all projects assigned to the unit Act as a unit advisor Develop and administer budgets, schedules and performance standards Establish and administer centralized functional projects Influence the development of objectives and long-range goals of the organization Erroneous decisions would result in critical delays to assigned projects resulting in substantial resource costs, and may jeopardize future business activity Frequent contact with equivalent level managers concerning projects, operational decisions or scheduling requirements Conduct briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives Perform personnel performance evaluations
BS or MS in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience is required Proficiency in design, procurement, and construction/field services processes and their inherent cost performance risks is required Familiarity with the Operating Procedures for Project Controls is required Knowledge and understanding of the scope of work for projects is required Able to effectively communicate with project management, other project leads, and the client is required Exceptional planning and organizational skills is required
