We are a leading construction company seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented

Cost Analyst

to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in controlling project costs, evaluating financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze project costs and track actual expenses vs. budgeted figures. Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses. Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and engineering teams to monitor and control expenditures. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements. Support in pricing, bidding, and financial modeling for new projects. Ensure cost control procedures are followed across all projects. Assist in preparing financial presentations for management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost analysis, preferably in the

construction or contracting industry

. Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis techniques. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on large-scale construction projects. Certification such as CMA, CPA, or PMP is a plus. Familiarity with cost control software or project management tools.
