COST ACCOUNTANT Responsibilities

Developing cost standards for materials and labor
Designing and implementing cost accounting systems
Analyzing production costs and recommending changes
Overseeing annual physical inventory Hiring, training and supervising cost and inventory accounting staff
Developing and analyzing cost standards
Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis
Preparing cost of goods sold and production reports
Reconciling beginning raw materials,
work-in-progress and finished-goods stock
Analyzing manufacturing operations,
equipment availability and utilization
Performing month-end cost accounting close
Maintaining cost accounting system and cost ledger
Performing life cycle cost-benefit analysis Analyzing inventory valuations
Performing account reconciliations
Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management Recommending changes to the company\xe2\x80\x99s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit
Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data
Gross Profit Analysis Financial Feasibility Reports
Budgeting & Forecasting Reports Operations department documents verification Accounting Documents verification
Purchase Invoices Posting both Local & Imports Booking of all direct cost in landing cost
Estimating overall Fixed & Variable costs and allocate same on product costing Value
Chain for new product pricing Value Chain for Promotional activities Value Chain for Product liquidation
