The Role
Reporting Line: Finance Manager Location: Dubai, UAE About the Job: This position will collaborate with other accountants and financial staff in the company to provide financial and accounting support to executives and department heads who establish goals and budgets for the organization. Your Role and Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Collecting and analysing data about a company\xe2\x80\x99s operational costs \xe2\x80\xa2 Setting standard costs of manufactured goods \xe2\x80\xa2 Developing and analyzing cost standards \xe2\x80\xa2 Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis, including for small businesses \xe2\x80\xa2 Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Performing account reconciliations \xe2\x80\xa2 Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management \xe2\x80\xa2 Recommending changes to the company\xe2\x80\x99s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit \xe2\x80\xa2 Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing the company\xe2\x80\x99s balance sheet and accounting books \xe2\x80\xa2 Supporting other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain BOM\xe2\x80\x99s and job costings \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage the AP clerk and ensure that AP accounts are paid on time. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and maintain the Fixed Asset register and capital expenditure as well

Requirements
Qualifications and Certifications: \xe2\x80\xa2 Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting & Finance preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Cost Accountant \xe2\x80\xa2 Profession CA or CIMA Certification preferred Skills Requirement: \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven organizational skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven problem solver, results focused and a self-motivated individual \xe2\x80\xa2 MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) proficiency required Communication: \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
